This place has been a long time favorite. Its not just a restaurant to grab a bite, its a comfy/cozy experience. Its fun and exciting to walk up to the chalet and see the snow and decorations. The taxidermy is cool, low lights, peanut shells, gigantic portions and the awesome purple cabbage salad. Love it!

I have been coming here since I was a baby, literally too. This place has always been a real staple for their peanuts, salad, garlic bread, steak, and big bake potato.Coming back here, once the restaurant's could open due to the Covid-19 (they go by code, too), but their food went to another level of greatness.It may be pricey ranging $30-$50 (depending), but you get what you pay for.

They did a great job with social distancing and felt safe dining in.

Great to get out.... Out door seating is done very well! Comfortable, good spacing and the real trees make for great decor.

Was only about 1/3 full of customers the entire time we were there so no good excuse of being too busy. We didn't get out drinks for about 30 minutes after we ordered them and reminded the server twice, we order 2 appetizers only got one, brought me the wrong dish, less expensive one I informed the server and said it was fine I would still eat it so we didn't have to wait another 45 minutes and we could eat together, handed me someone else's bill for over $100 more than our bill, waited 10 more minutes to flag the server down to inform, was given a bill that had the appetizer we order and never received and the more expensive dish that I didn't actually get, wait 5 more minutes flag down another server because ours was MIA, our server finally comes around, acted as though we were being an inconvienence, corrects bill and has it to use promptly. Still tipped 15 % figured people have off days. Food less was alright but expensive for its quality.

Great food and wonderful atmosphere. Beautiful decorations for the holidays. Dine here and linger with friends and family.

Always a fun place to go. Great hunting lodge ambience. Food is delicious and a lot of it. Make sure not to fill up on the salads and cheese bread before the entree comes, no matter how good they are! It's not an in inexpensive place to go, but I feel it's worth the money. Surf n turf dishes are the specialty.

This place has been here for so long and the food is still great. Everything from appetizers and drinks to sandwiches and entrees is great. The service is always welcoming and kind. It tends to be dark or dim inside, but that plays into the ambiance.

We like a lot eating out. Last night we visited this excellent place which friends told us about. We had a delightful experience there with exceptional meal and a professional crew and a distinguished cook. We put this restaurant in our phone list and we shall no doubt return soon. We deeply recommend.

Very friendly place, everyone always has a good time. Entrees are outstanding, best steaks anywhere and seafood to die for.
